OCTOBER, 13th 2005:

A really swift trip from Madrid to Valencia took me to that city from last October 12th until October 13th under the orders of Alex and Pablo, the two co-director of the already very awaited short movie "Darth Vader Extinction". My mission in Valencia was to shoot several scenes who where pending since last July (When was filmed the principal photography) because a lack of time. Those scenes consisted in the arrival of Darth Vader to Coruscant aboard his personal shuttle and the reception of the Imperial Officer and the Stormtroopers.
Truly it was the perfect excuse to meet again three good friends and breat people such as Alex, Pablo and Jose, creators of the short movie, and helped by a very incredible people (the other pablo for instance) or with other Star Wars and 501st Legion friends such as Gaby Navarro or Pablo Bellver himself (both get dressed with theis Star Wars costumes for the shooting like, obviously, myself).
I sincerelly believe that this short movie is going to be a real hit and not just because i appear on it (although that is a strong reason by the way...XD) Talking serious, i believe that the the quality of the visual effects (Jose's part of the job, a real wizkid...) and also the good directiong of the short, (this is the part which are responsable both Pablo and Alex) and also the quality of the actors working on it (here i have to mention Mari aka Dark Woman who was really impressive) or the deffinetly quality touch of getting the voice of Constantino Romero to dub Darth Vader himself. (That is me!!)
TRANSLATOR NOTE: Constantino Romero is a very famous actor, specially for dubbing to spanish some famous movie voices such as Arnold Swarzenegger in "Terminator" Saga, Clint Eastwood in Harry Callahan movies or Darth Vader in Star Wars movies.
So, i'm really convinced that this short is going to be a real success. By the way, my friends, thank you very much for taking care of me so much in Valencia, you are a great people, and now i will have to go there when you prepare the short-premiere in Christmas.

OCTOBER, 9TH 2005:

News from Valencia are confirmed: Constantino Romero himself has agreed to colaborate with my friends and creators of the Short Movie "Darth Vader Extinction" to dub the voice of Darth Vader, the character i play in that short movie. Step by step, the short is getting more and more quality.
According to theirs creators, it could be finished by the coming Christmas because even they are starting to edit some fighting scenes with the finished effects already applyed and they look really cool.

SEPTEMBER, 24TH 2005:

This saturday has been one of the most incredible of this year beacuuse i went to Valladolid as TxusVader invited by Lander aka "Shuse Lindux" and all the members of the pucelan Star Wars fan club "Fuerza Rebelde" to participate in the 10th Exhibition Fuerza Rebelde Valladolid.
I do not have words to describe how good i have spent this day with all the people who was with me and specially with the people i have met there, who are a incredible Star Wars fans and also people very friendly who has work really hard to set up a great exhibition.
I went saturday morning in my car with my friend and assistant Fran, and we stay until the legendary supper celebrated this same day. There, we coincide with friends and pros such as Jesus Martinez del Vas (JMV) who was also inviterd by the organization, or with Mr. Jerome Blake, actor who plays several alien roles in the Episodes 1-2-3. (For instance the blue-skinned and horned alien Mas Amedda, the one in charge of the order inside the Galactic Senate when Chancellor Palpatine adresses the senators). Mr. Blake revealed himself as a really kind and warm guy, the most friendly person one Star Wars fan could imagine. Legion 501st members who where there became very friendly for him and in every moment, even the supper, he was really friendly with us.
That day, a lot of 501st Legion memebers where there, some from Madrid and good friends of mine and other from Valladolid or Valencia or Barcelona. The point is that this day, the "Fuerza Rebelde" ("Rebel Force" in spanish) became "Fuerza Conquistada" ("Conquered Force" in spanish) due to the great amount of imperial costumes that were in the Exibition and delighted the fans.
Later on, during the supper, we spent a great time and i discover why the legend of that yearly supper. Sadly, later this night we have to return to Madrid and leave the supper because of personal reasons and because of this, losing ourselves the rest of that long and delightful night (as the told me it was...)
Obviously, last year i will go to Valladolid again to the 11th Star Wars Exhibition because they has show me that a Star Wars fan club need not to presume itself of its "official" licence to organize an almost perfect Star Wars event. By the way, i want to say hello from here and give thanks to some friends i met there and who helped me to stay the most confortable possible there. They are Lander, Rodrigo, Charo, Martina, Casandra and the barcelonean Jose and Gloria. A huge hug for them and for all the rest memebers of Fuerza Rebelde of course!!.

JULY, 17TH 2005:

For 5 days, TxusVader has been in valencia, invited by the creators of a short Star Wars movie that is being shot for the CEU School "Cardenal Herrera" where they study cinema in Valencia.
They are called Alex, Pablo and Jose. Pablo Bellver is a member of the 501st Legion 501 and that is why he contacted with me to recruit myself as Darth Vader for the short. After accepting the invitation very pleased, those 5 days in Valencia where spent in lightsabre reharsal shooting on location in sagunto, Navajas (a small city of Castellon) and also in the soundstage built inside the facilities of the CEU "Cardenal Herrera" School in Moncada (Valencia). The short is the movie adaptation of one of the most famous Star Wars comics stories, with a cript of the comic-book writer Ron Marz.
The two director Alex and Pablo, mainly known as the couple "Resource Shot" (XD) made an almost perfect adaptation of the comic to the screen in a short movie which, after finishing the shooting is getting better and better and they pretend to make the Premiere in December.
I would like to comment that, one ordinary shooting day inside the Vader costume in July 20th in Spain and in a coastal zone such as Valencia is an experience that someone could not forget easely, because already at 11 o'clock in the morning the heat is quite considerable and inside Vader costume you has already sweat everything you could sweat in a whole day. I can highlight the morning of shooting in Sagunto, from 9 to 12 in the morning, with a unavoidable sun and the most absolute unexistance of any tree or place able to cast a small shadow to cover yourself as you could appreciate in the movie when it will be finished. That morning, i could prove in my own body what possibly could feel Fernando Alonso in last year's "Bahrein" Formula 1 race when due to the heat and the excess sweating he was unable to stand on his foot when he was to receive the prize. Just a very similar thing happened to me and when the shooting was finishing that morning and the sweating almast made to faint... Luckily, the technnical staff was as scared as ready to help he and mantain me freeze and drinking the rest of the day and of course the following days, keeping me as i was in my own house and perfectly fed. Thank you to all of them from here and specially to Alex's family, who has treated me in a perfect way.
The last day, thursday, we made the shooting on stage, and i could check there the excellent facilities that CEU has for the cinema and TV students, a real luxury wich is able to give the short movie a semi-pro quality that, with no doubt, it will be a real success once finished.
