Vaderspain costume has been almost a period of 8 years of working and constant evolution from the first version used during the Star Wars Special Edition in 1997, until the current costume which is nowadays used by TxusVader and it is, in fact, almost an exact replica of the one showed in the "Empire Strikes Back" movie.

The costume is made of 15 different pieces, counting clothes, armor and other accesories. Although the total weight is not very heavy, having a helmet and a chest armor made of fiberglass gives the whole set a weight that is quite unconfortable when you wear the costume for a long period of time.
Firtly, the costume has a bodysuit made of leather, something that difficults incredibly the body natural perspiration and gives an extra tireness factor. In someway, Darth Vader costume quite imitates the sensation of being inside a body prision what is the sensation that should feel own Anakin Skywalker once he was healed and encased on it during the epilogue of the Episode 3.

Darth Vader helmet is an exact replica made in fiberglass taken from the original helmet used by the actor David Prowse in the "Empire Strikes Back". Chest Armor and Guard Shins are also exact replicas made of fiberglass from the similar parts of the original costume.
The Body suit and also the gloves and the codpiece are made of leather being in all the cases an exact replica of the true Darth Vader cloths shown in the movies. Darth Vader chest shows a "computerized lung" which function in the movies is keeping alive Darth Vaver. That "lung" is a perfect replica of the original Chest Computer "lung" and in its surface shows a clearly readable text written in Araubesh typography which translation to english (according to some Star Wars scholar fans) means:
"His sins will be redeemed when he merits"

Standing two meters tall, dressed in flowing black robes and black body armor, Darth Vader is a tangibly evil symbol of the Emperor's doctrine of rule through fear and terror. With the Emperor's favor Vader has risen through the Imperial ranks to become a fearsome and dreaded military commander, now one of the most highly placed individuals in the New Order.

His face locked behind a hideous metal breath screen, Vader cannot survive without the artificial support of his suit, which functions like a walking "iron lung," breathing for his crushed lungs and keeping his shattered body alive. In spite of these injuries, Vader is a powerful and dangerous figure. Ruthlessly employing torture and brutal violence to achieve his objectives, Darth Vader commands fear within his own troops as well as among his Rebel enemies.

While there are those within the military who despise his weird "sorcerer's ways" and his eccentric and dramatic behavior, as Vader's power has grown these objections have become fewer.

Once a Jedi Knight, Vader was formerly the pupil of Obi Wan Kenobi in the days of the Old Republic, learning the ways of the Force for the purpose of defending truth and justice throughout the galaxy. Impatient with Obi-Wan's teachings, Vader chose a different way of using the Force, and followed the temptations of the dark side of this power. Corrupted and turned evil, he betrayed his mentor and helped the Emperor hunt down and destroy the Jedi, leaving the terrible regime of the New Order unopposed.
